Kindergarten is the space in which Colombian children from 4 to 6 years old spend most of their time. We observe that although there is a great offer of toys, there are not many others for this context, in which dynamic keys are given in the formation of children.
Penti is a toy that generates dynamics of social inclusion and collective appropriation through cooperative play based on the activity of painting. This activity promotes the creative and expressive capacity, complements the role plays that children do naturally and facilitates the accompaniment of the teacher

The observation of the activities in the kindergarten was done with the help of a pedagogue, who explained the dynamic types and activities that the children had. We observe the toys they used and we determine their desirable characteristics, such as the capacity for personalization and collective appropriation. The data was tabulated and conclusions were drawn.

Classification of activities

Taking into account the research and verification of direct observation, criteria were defined by social dynamics children and the context where they unwinds the activities.


Painting is typical of academic spaces both in the classroom and in games.
Facilitates the accompaniment and work of the teacher in terms of identifying flaws and virtues of children
It promotes creative abilities and the expression of Emotions and personality.
It can be complementary to children's role plays, keeping in mind that role plays are the most intuitive in children.
It is an activity that looks like a playful pedagogy, but it is not evident as a game.
It is a very flexible activity, which makes it attractive to children because of its liberation characteristics and expression.
